As you all know the royal wedding has been and gone and my favourite Prince is now a married man!

So when I was younger I always liked Harry more than William (sorry Will). At school the girls would be like, “Oh I love Prince William!” and I’d sit there thinking to myself, “Am I the only one who likes Harry? That’s okay, more for me!” Then I secretly would think to myself, we’re not too far apart in age, when I’m older I’m going to marry Prince Harry and I’ll be the first black Princess (I didn’t know there are European black Princesses at the time).

It’s funny looking back because I was very serious. I really was there like, “I’d marry him if I met him and we fell in love.”

I was telling my mom this story yesterday and she was like, “It kind of came true, he did end up marrying a black woman.”

She’s totally right. When I first found out about the two of them I was like, “Omd, he actually did marry someone black!” And it was cool that I knew her from Suits.

Life is full of surprises.

Anyway anecdote over, I’m very happy for him. He’s married, in my birthday month, and he looks happy. My favourite Prince is married, hurrah!!
