Spoilers!!!

Rock Lee! Bushy Brows as Naruto called him in the dub version. I don’t know if he did it in the sub version as by Shippuden I had moved on to reading Naruto instead of watching it.

Rock Lee is the one of the best characters in the series. He is so sincere and kind and hardworking. He can only do taijutsu and instead of letting that weigh him down he decides he will make it in the ninja world with just taijutsu.

He works hard training every day and he never gives up. He does have hard times but luckily his sensei became Might Guy and what a match made in heaven! Guy is perfect for Lee, he’s the only one who can understand what he’s going through and he imparts wisdom and his positive personality on Lee.

Lee almost beat Gaara, I think that’s amazing. Gaara was a formidable foe but Lee looked at him and thought, “I can do it!” That is the best attitude to have.

Because Naruto is the protagonist he had to be the one to change people but if Naruto did not exist I feel that Rock Lee could have done the same thing. I feel that he inspired a lot of people. I mean look at the reaction people had when he couldn’t fight anymore when Gaara crushed his arm and leg. They were willing to do anything to get him to being 100% again.

After his surgery it was warned he would not be the same but Lee carried on kicking ass! With the help of Guy he picked himself back up and challenged the world again.

I have mentioned this before but even though he can only do taijutsu from his weakness came a great strength. He, like Might Guy and Might Duy, discovered how to open the gates. With this strength they can be the most powerful ninja’s in Konoha, the most true ninjas in Konoha in fact.

In Boruto I like that Lee has a son and that his son is his own person. It’s interesting to see him as a parent however I wish we’d see who he married. Whoever he ended up with is lucky to have him because Lee was the most gentlemanly guy out of them all. Contrary to popular belief I don’t think it’s Ten Ten.
